Apps that don't leave anyone behind

Voxcess is a small effort with one stubborn focus: making apps that someone using a screen reader can actually use — properly, not as an afterthought. We're early on, and we'd rather get a few things genuinely right than rush out a pile of half-accessible ones.

What we care about

Accessibility first

Not bolted on at the end. It's where we start.

Made for screen readers

We don't call anything done until it works with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack.

Calm and uncluttered

Clean screens, easy on the keyboard, nothing in your way.

Made to keep

Built to stay useful, not to chase trends.

What we're building

We're not tied to one kind of app — over time there'll be all sorts, for different needs. The one thing that won't change is the rule we hold ourselves to: if it doesn't work well with a screen reader, it isn't finished. We keep testing until it actually feels right, and honestly, that tends to make the app better for everyone.

Why we're doing this

A lot of software is technically “accessible” and still a pain to use. That gap is the whole reason Voxcess exists — and closing it, app by app, is the job.

There isn't a big catalogue yet, but what's here is built with care, and more is on the way.
