About Voxcess
Voxcess builds software for people who use screen readers. Most software is designed for sighted users first. Accessibility, when it exists at all, is added afterward. That approach often falls short. Screen reader users end up dealing with missing features, confusing navigation, or workarounds that should not have been necessary.
We take a different approach. Our software is designed with screen reader support from the beginning, not patched in later. We test with major screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, and Narrator to make sure things work the way they should.
We are still early. Our first products are out, and more are in development. The goal is simple: build software that screen reader users can rely on.
Behind Voxcess
Voxcess was founded by Shahzada Saleem, an accessibility tester and advocate. Shahzada holds a Diploma in Accessibility Testing and is a TTV5 Trusted Tester with experience training visually impaired individuals in assistive technology.
As a screen reader user himself, he understands the gaps in existing software firsthand. That experience is what drives the way Voxcess products are designed and built. When the person building the software depends on the same tools as the users, the result is naturally better.
